NReg utilizes a hierarchical database, offering more comprehensive data than a simple flat file. Users can easily navigate through related information with just a few taps.
All data is stored on a server synchronized with the latest updates from the Federal Aviation Authority, ensuring current information. Please note that this app requires WiFi or cellular internet access.
With NReg, users can quickly find answers to various queries, such as:
- What are the registration details for aircraft N-xxx?
- Who is the registered owner?
- Show all aircraft owned by a specific individual.
- List all aircraft of the same type, share the same engine, or come from the same manufacturer.
- Search for an owner and view all their associated aircraft through an auto-complete dropdown menu.
- Instantly access internet search engines for further details on aircraft, owners, or models.
NReg offers seamless integration with the leading search engine, providing quick access to extended information about owners, engine specifics, and aircraft images.
The app features two screen presentations mode (selectable in iPhone settings): a daylight and night format to ensure comfortable usage during night flights without compromising cockpit visibility.
